Scholarship Description
Available for students from eligible Commonwealth countries, including Uganda, to pursue a full-time Master's degree at a UK university.
The Commonwealth Masters Scholarship is intended for talented individuals who have the potential to make a positive impact on the global stage but could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.
Each scholarship provides a round-trip airfare, tuition and examination fees, a monthly living allowance (stipend), a thesis grant (if applicable), and an arrival allowance.
Scholarships are offered under six developmental themes: Science and technology for development, Strengthening health systems and capacity, Promoting global prosperity, Strengthening global peace, security and governance, Strengthening resilience and response to crises, and Access, inclusion and opportunity.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Must be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country.
Academic Merit
Hold a first degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) standard.
Economic Status
Unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship.
Commencement
Be available to start academic studies in the UK by September 2024.
